In order to make Convention represented by all universities across Australia and New Zealand, 30 places are held for delegates from each university for the first hour after registration opens. This means that if you are one of the first 30 people to register from your university within the first hour, you are guaranteed a spot.
After the first hour, these spots are released and will be allocated to delegates based on when they applied for a ticket.
If you are from a high delegate number university and get a 'waiting list' email, this means your uni has already registered up to their 30 spot quota and all other non-allocated spots are exhausted - be sure to check your email after an hour when all spots held for other unis will be released - perhaps to you!
